The 2018 spring was capricious, between rainy episodes and hail

risks. But a beautiful summer and especially a beautiful late season allowed to harvest healthy grapes at full maturity, giving this 2018 vintage an exceptional quality.

Château La Peyruche is located on beautiful hills overlooking the Garonne. This wine comes from an assemblage of plots with gravelly red and clay-limestone soils.

100% Merlot.

The grapes are harvested when the aromatic maturity is reached. The vatting lasts 10 to 15 days, at moderate temperature. These fermentation conditions give this wine its fruity character and supple structure.

Our cuvée "tradition" has been vinified and aged to bring you fruity and roundness.

On the nose, aromas of cherry and fully-ripe strawberry are revealed with spicy notes. On the palate, our cuvée Tradition reveals soft tannins and a rounded finish.

Depending on the season and mood, this wine can be served relatively fresh, around 15°C. It will perfectly accompany your plates of cold meats and grills.
